HAPPY BIRTHDAY, THOMPSON!!
Thompson turned TWO on January 2nd!! We celebrated with his first birthday party on the 29th of December with family and friends. He was tickled with his party and thoroughly enjoyed himself. When he opened his gifts, we told him who gave it to him and he thought that meant he had to give it to them...precious. We had a "Thompson Safe" party with everything safe for Thompson! A great time was had and we can't thank everyone enough for coming out to celebrate with us!! Thompson sang "to you" from the Happy Birthday song to himself for a week!

Christmas Eve
Jackson is just beside himself that the day has finally arrived. Thompson is still not quite sure about Christmas...although he is quite excited when he sees a present!! Jackson has a lot of his Mommy in him and he wants to open "just one" everyday....well several times a day!! We had a quiet day at home making cookies and dinner while Daddy worked and we anxiously awaited the arrival of Mimi and Linda.

Visit to the North Pole
Tonight we visited the "North Pole"! Jackson, Thompson, Mommy, and Papa went to Silverhill, Alabama to ride a Welsh train. They had a million lights and inflatables. We boarded the train to the North Pole where we got off for a visit with Santa. Santa gave the boys a wooden train that they got to decorate while waiting on the train to pick us back up. It was a great night and lots of fun! We are ready for Santa to visit our house!!

Candlelight Carols at Church
Jackson's Sunday School class had a candlelight program at church to kick off the week of Christmas. His class sang "Little Town of Bethlehem"...not the easiest of songs for four year olds!! I couldn't get close enough to get a good picture...he is in the front center.
