Happy Birthday, Jackson!

Jackson turned five this year!! On his birthday, Jackson, Thompson, and Mommy headed to Mobile to visit the Exploreum. For Jackson's birthday, he got a bike and family pass to the Exploreum. He donned a tshirt mommy made saying "I'm 5"...he was soooo proud!!

At the Wharf of Wonder part of the Exploreum, children play on a mock shrimp boat amongst thousands of blue balls representing water. Children can catch fish, lobster, crabs, and sea turtles in nets then take them to the market to "weigh and sell". Lots of fun!!

We picked up the pirate ship bounce house for Jackson's party!!

Spring Break

Jackson was on spring break the week following Easter so we decided to spend a few extra days enjoying the beach. It was still a little chilly for the water, but that didn't stop Jackson. He had an absolute blast!

Oops...big wave got him!!

Photo Shoot

In an effort to get Jackson's 5 year and Thompson's 2 year photos and save some money...I decided to attempt them on my own!! I have always said that trying to get a picture of the two of them both looking at the camera can be likened to getting two cats to pose for a picture!!

Easter Weekend

We spent this Easter at the Beach House in Orange Beach. Saturday afternoon the boys enjoyed painting paper mache' Easter Eggs. This is our version of dying eggs since both boys are allergic to eggs. It is a fun alternative and gives us a momento from each Easter.

Easter Morning

Thompson LOVES an excuse for candy for breakfast!!

Square Doughnuts

After learning to make Jackson doughnuts, I figured out how to make doughnuts for Thompson by frying Thompson safe bread and sugar. Two happy campers with something new to eat!!

Never a dull moment...

Thompson is quite the character and always keeps us laughing! Look closely under the tv!

Egg Free Doughnuts

Jackson has always wanted to eat a doughnut. Thanks to Saturday morning's Chef on a Shoestring...Mommy learned how to make doughnuts....bonus....they were egg free!! He was soooo very excited and couldn't wait. He enjoyed his first doughnut ever!!

Easter Bunny Visit

Today we went to Wales West in Silverhill, Alabama to ride the train to visit the Easter Bunny. Thompson was not on board with riding the train. He loved it at Christmas, just was not up for it at all on this day. We reached the Easter Bunny's home, visited with the Easter Bunny, made some decorations, and hunted eggs before boarding the train back home. The boys played for a bit at the park at Wales West and then we headed to the Eastern Shore Centre for pictures with live bunnies.
