Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Pumpkin Patch 2008

Jackson's class had a Thanksgiving Feast on Tuesday.

They made the Indian attire at school.

We want to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving!!

Thompson at Work

Thompson is not quite as diligent at following the "only on paper" rule when it comes to markers. I caught him writing on his entire body one day. When asked what he was doing he replied "a"....every letter is "a" right now, so I guess he was practicing his handwriting! Let's just say we only keep washable markers!!

Wish List

Jackson has been busy compiling his wish list for Santa. He continues to add something here and there. We are hoping to get it in the mail to Santa this weekend!!

Computer Guru

Thompson wants to be big like Jackson and thinks he can do anything his brother can. I have found that I can set him up with a diego video clip online and he will watch it while I get ready in the morning. I was quite surprised one morning when I caught him adjusting the volume!! He doesn't miss a beat!!

Trick or Treat!!

Jackson and Thompson enjoyed trick or treating this Halloween. Thompson was an elephant and Jackson originally was going to be a giraffe, but in the last few days decided to be a Power Ranger!

Our Little Golfers

Fall Festival

Jackson's preschool had a Fall Festival with a Noah's Ark theme the week before Halloween. They had different stations to rotate through with their class including pumpkin decorating, bounce house, treasure hunt, face painting, and cupcake decorating (egg and peanut free of course). His preschool has been so very accomodating and thoughtful to be sure Jackson doesn't feel any different and is not excluded from activities...we couldn't be any happier!!

Atlanta Trip Day 2

We moved into our extended stay suite with two bedrooms and a kitchenette after the Zoo on Monday. On Tuesday, we headed downtown to visit the Georgia Aquarium. We were all amazed!! Jackson really enjoyed it and Thompson was quite cautious about it all. We watched the 4D movie there at the aquarium. Thompson was not a fan of it at all....staying buried in mommy's shoulder. Water sprinkled on us and some strings likening jellyfish touched us at one point...definately not Thompson's favorite part of the trip.

Charles attended his Toyota meeting on Wednesday morning. We were ready to head out when he returned. As we were preparing to load the car...Thompson went in the bedroom and shut the door. It was an adjoining suite type of door with NO door handle on the side that Jackson and Mommy were on! Of course the deadbolt and "chain" were set on the door to the hallway. He laughed for a few minutes and thought he possibly was touching the handle, but the laughter turned to fear and tears just before the maintenance man rescued him with a special tool!! Never a dull moment!!

Atlanta Trip Day 1

Charles was scheduled to attend a 3 hour Toyota meeting in Atlanta in October, so we decided to make it a mini vacation. We left on Sunday afternoon, which was day before scheduled, but Charles had to deliver a car to someone sort of kind of on our way to Atlanta! The boys did great on the trip and we arrived in Atlanta about 10:30 our time. Since we were a day early, we couldn't get the room we reserved and had one room with two queens. It took the boys some time to settle and Thompson just couldn't sleep in the pack and play while we were all in the same room...therefore we pushed a queen against the wall to keep Jackson from falling off and pushed the two beds together to make one huge bed. Thompson is our little comedian and kept everyone up until almost 2 am!! He was definately in rare form and he will do anything for a laugh! What a monkey!!

First on our agenda...The Atlanta Zoo!

Charles wanted to climb the rock wall. I asked him if he thought he was going to be able to ring the bell at the top. His answer was that he was ringing that bell even if it was nightfall! He did reach the top well before dark!! Jackson climbed the wall behind Daddy!
