We recently started attending the Catholic church here in Fairhope. They have a children's liturgy where Jackson goes with the other children during Mass. He comes back and joins us for the latter half of Mass. After Mass, he goes to a Sunday school class for an hour and is enjoying that as well. Since his preschool is in Daphne, this gives him (and us) a good opportunity to meet other children and families in Fairhope. Last week after Sunday School, they had a pumpkin patch for us to visit.

Brothers!
After lunch each day, we have quiet time. Thompson takes a nap and Jackson "rests". Last week, I was on the phone after lunch and thought the boys were being awfully quiet...which means you better check on them! I found Thompson laying in Jackson's lap watching a movie. So sweet!

Susan's Wedding
Daddy's cousin Susan got married on Sept. 20th, 2008 in Fairhope. Jackson had the honor of being a ring bearer. A wonderful time was had by all and Susan was a beautiful bride.

Nothing like a little yard work to relax you!!
One Sunday morning, we ventured down to the Fairhope pier and public beach. It was an absolutely beautiful day and we really enjoyed ourselves.
Seconds after I took this picture of the boys checking out the geese...one of the geese got quite territorial!!! It started honking and coming at them. I wasn't able to snap away as I had to catch Jackson clear across the parking lot!

Auburn Days

The boys are fascinated with all of the seasonal blow up yard decorations. We just had to get a picture of this on a recent trip to Walmart. Jackson has taken to wearing his Alabama shirt more often than not these days since his teacher, Mrs. Ann, is an Alabama fan. He just lights up when she oohs and aahs over his shirt!

Recently I put Thompson in an Auburn outfit and Jackson thought he looked so cute that he decided he should wear his Auburn shirt too! We wouldn't want to "out cute" the other...oh the competition!!
